Hi Guys,
I have just acquired this boat and hoped that somebody could identify who the buider was. I believe it is a German boat as the traveller etc is by Sprenger it has an engraved alloy plaque in the aft comparment stamped 1014 could this be a sailnumber.
Could it be a Mader?

Hello Brooksey,

I think it is a Elvström-Finn, if the gunwale strakes are from rubber, gum or PVC.

We have some pictures of an Elvström Finn here: http://www.regatta-forum.com/phpBB3/vie ... %B6m#p4228

My brother has a Finn with the sail-Nr. G 1079 from 1969.

1014 could be from 1968

I came to the same conclusion regarding the rubbing strakes but I have not seen an Elvestrom before with bouyancy tanks like these or a rear drain tube moulded in to the transom flap which seems original.

Brooksey here are two pics of an older Elvström Finn.
I think the breakwater looks similar too.
