Valerian Lebrun has won the 2021 Finn World Masters on Mar Menor, Murcia, Spain, with a day to spare after a 2,1 on Thursday put him out of reach of the other 107 sailors from 20 nations. Another delay to wait for wind was rewarded with two spectacular races in brilliant sunshine and in a building breeze from 6-10 knots.
The opening race win went to David Terol, and leaves him in third. Filipe Silva is back in second, with Laurent Hay in fourth. While second to fourth are within six points of each, most of the age categories are still wide open going into the final race on Friday.
