Since returning to Kiel on Sunday afternoon, following the collision at the start of @theoceanrace, the damage on Holcim-PRB has been thoroughly assessed and the green and blue IMOCA is in repair, with regular evaluations along the way. Work started with a clean cut to the damaged section of the hull, and carbon repairs are now underway.Team Holcim-PRB is working in close collaboration with the experts at Knierim Yachtbau shipyard. We are sincerely grateful for their skill and support, as well as the tireless work of our own technicians. The entire team remains fully committed to getting the boat repaired and ready to sail safe and sound.
