19.04.2024Ahead of the official and tradition-laden naming ceremony of ‘Taihoro’ in the early evening, Emirates Team New Zealand took the opportunity to get a morning and lunchtime sail in on the Hauraki Gulf with a building breeze and flat water giving the sailors everything they could want for this vital commissioning stage.
Kommentar: Taihoro macht auf dem Wasser fliegend einen guten Eindruck. Der Spalt zwischen dem Bootsrumpf (Bubble) und dem Wasser ist gering und wirkt wie ein Fence. Alinghi sieht ähnlich aus. Es wurde aber noch nichtgesegelt sondern nur geschleppt.
